What We Do

The pipe, fixed.
The yard, untouched.

Traditional sewer repair means excavating a trench the length of your lateral — tearing up concrete, landscaping, and hardscaping to reach the pipe. Trenchless methods eliminate most of that. We access the pipe at two small points, perform the repair from the inside, and leave your property intact.

How It Works

Camera to camera —
in a single day.

  1. Step 1:

    Camera Inspection

We run a sewer camera to assess pipe condition, confirm the pipe is suitable for trenchless, and locate access points.

  2. Step 2:

    Choose the Method

Pipe bursting (full replacement from inside) or CIPP lining (sleeve inserted to seal the existing pipe). We recommend based on pipe condition.

  3. Step 3:

    Perform the Repair

Minimal excavation at entry/exit points only. The repair is completed in hours, not days. No full yard excavation.

  4. Step 4:

    Post-Repair Camera & Flow Test

We confirm the repair, check for proper slope, and verify full flow before we leave.

Know Your Options

Pipe bursting or CIPP lining —
what's the difference?

Which trenchless method fits your situation?

We recommend after the camera inspection — not before.

Pipe bursting

Full replacement

A new pipe is pulled through while the old one is simultaneously fractured outward. Ideal for severely deteriorated or collapsed pipes.

CIPP lining

Pipe-within-a-pipe

A resin-saturated liner is inserted and cured in place. Works for cracks, root intrusion, and corrosion where the pipe still has structural integrity.

Traditional excavation

When trenchless isn't right

Grade issues, pipe belly, or inaccessible access points sometimes require open-cut repair. We tell you which is appropriate.

Signs you may need trenchless repair

Don't wait until you have a sewage emergency.

  • Sewage smell without obvious source
  • Persistently slow or backing-up drains
  • Tree roots confirmed via camera
  • Cracked or corroded clay/cast iron pipe
  • You want to avoid tearing up landscaping
  • Pre-sale home inspection flagged the sewer

FAQ

Common questions

Everything homeowners ask before calling us.

Trenchless sewer repair typically runs $3,000–$8,000 depending on pipe length, condition, and which method is used. Pipe bursting for a full lateral replacement runs higher than CIPP lining for spot repairs. We give you a firm price after the camera inspection — before any work begins.

Most residential trenchless repairs are completed in a single day. CIPP lining cures in 4–6 hours. Pipe bursting is typically done in a morning. Complex cases with difficult access or longer runs may require a second visit, but that's the exception.

Yes — often more so. CIPP liners are rated for 50+ years and create a seamless, root-resistant interior. Pipe bursting installs new HDPE pipe, which is corrosion-resistant and highly durable. Both methods are well-established and widely used by municipalities.

Most can, but not all. Pipes with significant grade issues, bellied sections, or severely collapsed areas may require open-cut repair. Inaccessible access points can also rule out trenchless. We tell you which approach is appropriate after the camera inspection — we don't push one method when it's not the right fit.

That's the point of trenchless — minimal surface disruption. We excavate small access pits at entry and exit points only, typically 2–3 feet wide. Driveways, lawns, gardens, and hardscaping are left intact. You won't be replanting your yard after the job.

Guerra Bros. used CIPP lining on our main sewer line. The whole job was done in one day — no torn-up yard, no concrete work. The camera before and after showed a perfect result. Highly recommend.

Had roots completely blocking my sewer line. They did a pipe bursting job and were done by early afternoon. You'd never know they were there — no damage to the driveway. Pricing was fair and they explained everything.

I called three plumbers. Guerra Bros. were the only ones who did a camera inspection first and explained exactly what we needed. CIPP lining — completed in one visit. Two months later, zero issues.
